here comes the bride

i am getting married the day after tomorrow!

i can't wait for our honeymoon. i haven't had a pure vacation in such a long time. even during the year where i visited nate in sf twelve or so times, those were not really vacations.
so, we've decided to go to san francisco for our honeymoon, we really, really can't wait...i'm sure you can imagine all of the built up energy surrounding te event of the wedding and honeymoon.

old friends

lately, i have been spending a large chunk of my time thinking about old friends. everyone is home for christmas break...it's great to see everyone together again.

i've been running into a ton of people from my high school, which has really thrown me for a loop. suddenly, i feel like the giddy high schooler, tounge-tied and on the defense (all in one). whenever i see these people, which, as of late has been everyday, i just feel so...well, funny. it feels as though we were just in chem or ward's psych again (or waiting out in the hall - amanda, you know what i'm talking about)...but then i think, wait, i'm getting married in two months!

i love my friends, i love my friends. i can't express that enough. while writing this very post, a friend gave me an incredibly generous and thoughtful gift. not because he felt he had to, but because he just wanted somethings to be easier for me, because he loves me. i will always be blessed with these friends.

woohoo!!!

tomorrow is my 21st birthday! yay!
